1. On a large island in Flat Iron Lake, find a wrecked pirate ship run aground; inside the hull you can take a wearable Pirate's Hat. 2. Trace the pirates' path inland to a small abandoned campfire they built after surviving the wreck. 3. On a smaller nearby island, find a washed-ashore rowboat with a skeleton and a broken pirate sword — implying a violent mutiny over the treasure. 4. The last surviving pirate lies dead under a small wooden bridge in the Bayou, beside a huge dead alligator. His skeleton is missing a leg — the gator ambushed him but he killed it before dying. His lockbox treasure turns out to be practically worthless.
