Myths in RDR2 (Vol. 2)

Three more myths tested — shooting a bullet out of the air, surviving any water dive, and animals mourning their dead.

Emplacement Validé

Various — combat, Bacchus Bridge, the wild.

Notes d'enquête

- Shoot an enemy's bullet out of the air: CONFIRMED — enter Dead Eye the instant an enemy fires and paint a target along the bullet's path; your round collides with theirs mid-air. - Safely jump from any height into water: BUSTED — small cliffs are fine, but diving off massive structures like Bacchus Bridge kills you on impact due to terminal velocity. - Animals mourn their dead: CONFIRMED — shoot a wolf or coyote, hide, and a packmate may return to sit by the body and let out mournful howls.

Théorie de l'Affaire

Shooting a bullet midair is a flashy Dead Eye trick. Do not assume deep water is always safe — huge drops still kill.

Route d'Investigation

Q: Can you shoot a bullet out of the air? A: Yes — with precise Dead Eye timing along the bullet's trajectory. Q: Is every water dive safe? A: No — diving from very tall structures is an instant kill.
