1. Locate five white-ink messages on Saint Denis alley walls: behind the Gunsmith, near the Trapper, behind Henry's House, near the General Store, and by the meat market. 2. As you inspect each, Arthur draws part of a pentagram in his journal; finding all five completes it and points near the cathedral. 3. Go to the marked alley courtyard strictly between midnight and 1:00 AM to find a pale figure feeding on a corpse. 4. He warns you to leave; antagonize him and he attacks with lethal speed — a single dagger strike kills Arthur. Shoot him fast and loot the unique Ornate Dagger.
