One of the game's eeriest secrets. Five cryptic messages are scrawled on walls around Saint Denis. Record all five, then visit a hidden alley after midnight to confront an actual vampire and loot his unique Ornate Dagger.

Clue 2 — Ride to the eastern Trapper market stalls; walk past the iron fence into the rear alley for the second inscription. Clue 3 — Go to the alley behind Henry's House tenement. Enter the courtyard, move forward, take an immediate right, and inspect the wall for clue three. Clue 4 — Head to the grocery store and search the dark storage lanes for the fourth message. Clue 5 — Go to the rear wall of the city slaughterhouse yard for the fifth and final inscription. The Confrontation — With all 5 clues logged, wait until between midnight and 1:00 AM, then enter the narrow alley courtyard south of the Saint Denis cathedral. A pale man is feeding on a corpse. He is extremely fast and can kill you in one hit — strike immediately, then loot his body for the unique Ornate Dagger.
